Beginning therapy

Your next chapter can begin
with one small step.

You don’t need a perfect explanation or a clear plan. You can begin with what feels heavy, what you miss about yourself, or the hope that life could feel different.

01

Reach out

Call or text us, or send a brief email, to ask about availability. You can share what you’re looking for without going into personal details.

02

Talk about the fit

We’ll discuss your needs, answer initial questions, and review scheduling, fees, and session options.

03

Begin with your story

Early sessions make room for your story, the ways you have learned to cope, and what you want to reclaim. You can share at a thoughtful pace and speak up when something feels difficult.

04

Shape the work together

We’ll choose goals that reflect what matters to you and build a plan around your needs. Along the way, we’ll notice growth, talk honestly about challenges, and adjust the work together.

Common questions

A little clarity before you begin.

Do I need to have a diagnosis to reach out?

You can reach out even if you’re unsure how to describe what you’re experiencing. We can talk about your concerns and whether the practice may be a good fit.

Do you only work with trauma?

Trauma is a special focus of my work. I also support people with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, life changes, relationships, boundaries, and self-worth. We can discuss your needs before beginning.

Will I have to talk about everything right away?

No. We’ll begin by getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. You can share concerns about discussing difficult experiences, and we’ll talk together about how to approach them.

What if I don’t know what to say?

You don’t need to arrive with a prepared story. I can help guide the conversation with questions, and there is room to pause and think.

Can we talk about my values, beliefs, or sense of purpose?

Yes. If those parts of your life are important to you, they are welcome in our conversations. We’ll follow your preferences and focus on what feels relevant to your care.

Do I need to share your beliefs to work with you?

No. You deserve respectful care that makes room for your own beliefs, experiences, and perspective.

How long will I need therapy?

That depends on your needs, goals, and circumstances. We’ll discuss an initial plan and check in on your progress along the way.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. I offer telehealth sessions for adults throughout Florida. In-person care is coming soon. Contact us to ask about current appointment availability.

What are your fees, and do you accept insurance?

A 15-minute consultation is free. Individual therapy / initial assessment starts at $140 for 50–60 minutes. View all starting rates, including extended and group sessions. Please contact us directly about insurance.

Who do you work with?

I work with adults, with a particular focus on supporting women as they navigate trauma, emotional concerns, and life changes. Adults of all genders are welcome to ask about care.

There is room for a new beginning.

You don’t have to walk this path alone. Let’s talk about what you are carrying and the life you hope to reclaim.
